Dr. Robert Perry received the Distinguished Mentor Award at the 2025 MSCE Annual Gala. The Distinguished Mentor Award acknowledges those in the medical profession who have shown exceptional commitment to mentoring and guiding the next generation of healthcare providers. It recognizes the importance of nurturing talent and fostering professional growth within the medical field. 

 Dr. Perry is the Chief of the Division of Pediatric Plastic Surgery at Oishei Children’s Hospital. Throughout his 40+ year career, Dr. Perry has been providing compassionate, comprehensive care to the patients and families coming to him for plastic surgery, otolaryngology/head & neck surgery and more. During this time, he has also regarded mentorship as a vital part of his development as a physician. After helping found the Laurence C. Wright Craniofacial Center in 1989, he began to attract scores of practitioners from across the country seeking advanced education in complex reconstructive procedures. And he welcomed them with open arms.
